Welcome to the Training Center website for Community Mental Health (CMH). All the information you need to know about training through CMH should be found below.

If you have questions please contact:

If we are not available for assistance, please leave a message and we will return your call or email within a reasonable timeframe.

IMPORTANT NOTICE

We have transitioned to a new learning platform: Lakeshore LMS (Learning Management System). The Training Center is no longer utilizing myLearningPointe to register for classroom or online courses.

All student accounts will be deactivated in myLearningPointe on January 4, 2016. All online courses that have been assigned in myLearningPointe must be completed prior to this date in order to receive credit for completing the course.

ALSO NOTE: Please print your and your staff’s TRANSCRIPT from myLearningPointe by January 4. Your training records in myLearningPointe will NOT be transferred to the new training platform, Lakeshore LMS.

NEW TRAINING PLATFORM:
Lakeshore LMS (Learning Management System)

CMHOC is now using Lakeshore LMS as its platform for classroom and online courses. This learning platform is a self-registration system in which each student registers for both classroom and online courses they wish to complete.

Lakeshore LMS is being used by the five partner agencies in the Lakeshore Regional Partners affiliation: CMH of Ottawa County, Allegan County CMH, HealthWest (Muskegon), network180 (Kent), and West Michigan CMH (Mason, Lake, and Oceana Counties).

Curriculum Changes

There are numerous changes to the curriculum, including the discontinuation of several classroom courses and the addition of many new online courses. View the Staff Training Requirements for the standards that have been set in our region starting January 1, 2016. This list was developed by trainers region-wide and is being implemented by the agencies affiliated with the Lakeshore Regional Partners. The list details which courses are available in the classroom and which courses are available online. It also includes the timeframe for course completion.

View the Curriculum Crosswalk document that compares the previously offered curriculum to the new curriculum. This is a useful document to assure that providers are enrolling in all the necessary courses that are contractually required for their agency.

NOTE: Courses are still being added during the month of December to Lakeshore LMS. Some of the courses listed in the two documents referenced above may not appear yet in the list of available courses in Lakeshore LMS.

Accessing Lakeshore LMS

To set up your user profile and register for courses, go to the Lakeshore LMS homepage. Information on how to use Lakeshore LMS and how to start the registration process for students is located on the homepage. Look for the “How to…” video and the Quick Guide on that page.
